弦 乐 专 业

      弦乐系不仅为学生们提供大量的表演机会，并且有专职教师和教授授课。弦乐系的目的旨在为培养更加称呼的演奏家，他们更加熟悉独奏、合奏、和管弦乐艺术，并且学会在不同历史时期的作品中如何恰当诠释。

      曼哈顿音乐学院在1984年的时候就建立了弦乐四重奏，乐团成员有小提琴演奏家 Peter Winograd 和 Laurie Carney，中提琴演奏家Daniel Avshalomov和大提琴演奏家Wolfram Koesse，他们已经举办了一系列的音乐会并指导了许多学生组成的室内乐团。

      学习之余，学院还为学生提供了额外的机会与世界级演奏家一起演出和研究。

Nicholas Mann

茱莉亚音乐学院本科和硕士毕业，师从Dorothy Delay。先后任教于University of Delaware (1989–1998), Harvard University (1992–2001), North Carolina School of the Arts (1997–2003), 和the Hartt School of Music (2000–2003)。现在他也任教于茱莉亚音乐学院。自2013年起任教于曼哈顿音乐学院预科。

Daniel Avshalomov

毕业茱莉亚音乐学院本科和硕士。自1984年起任教于曼哈顿音乐学院，2004年起任教于学院预科，同时任教于阿斯本音乐学校。
