      音乐制作课程提供本科阶段学习，课程结合了乐理、作曲、编曲和音乐的核心训练，还包括了录音棚技术、商业音乐和媒体技术。

Thomas A. Haines

Thomas在Butler University取得了学士和硕士学位。

目前他是辛辛那提大学音乐学院音乐制作专业主任，1999-2011年他在阿斯本音乐节上担任教师，并且是Schumann Film Scoring Program的创始成员。

作为一名录音工程师和制作人，他在管弦乐、室内乐、电子/原声录制等都有丰富经验。他的学生也在这领域取得巨大成就，比如金像奖和艾美奖等，并在美国各地的工作室担任作曲家、录音工程师。

Thomas现在仍活跃在作曲和表演领域，制作独立电影，视频和多媒体制作的音乐。
 

Kim C. Pensyl

音乐制作专业副教授。

本科毕业于俄亥俄州立大学，研究生毕业于加利福尼亚州立大学。

Kim是一位多产的爵士录音家，作曲家和编曲家，曾两次被评为公告牌年度20位当代爵士艺人之一。

作为一名小号手，他在公告牌当代爵士乐排行榜上拥有四张前十的专辑。

在任教辛辛那提音乐学院之前，他在俄亥俄州立大学任教。

Application materials for the portfolio include:

1. Mp3 audio files consisting of two original compositions in any style. The recordings may be from live performances, studio productions or computer generated via sequenced MIDI tracks or files exported from notation software programs.

2. Scores, lead sheets, chord charts or chord charts with lyrics of the submitted compositions. *Finale or Sibelius software is encouraged, although handwritten scores are acceptable for the pre-screening.

3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. ACT or SAT scores and High School GPA

5. Documentation of your role in all submitted materials.

* Note if you performed on the songs

* Note what instrument/instruments you played.
* Note if you engineered and/or produced the recording.

      现场面试：

1、Performance of two original compositions.

Applicant should bring two copies of the scores or lead-sheets using Finale or Sibelius for the compositions performed.

2、Demonstration of core music skills.

3、Interview will consist of:

Your knowledge and use of technology, like Logic and

Pro Tools.

Your musical background development in school and

private lessons.

Your experience, performances and productions.

Your main areas of interest and career goals.
